Matane is a hamlet, located on a hillside and exposed to the east.

On the east-facing slopes, the reds and Roussanne reveal all their elegance thanks to the draining soils of clay-limestone scree.

The other white grape varieties, on the other hand, draw their finesse and freshness from deep soils.

Taking over the family estate

Joël Descan, who has been in contact with vines since a young age, takes over the vineyard.

A lover of the land, he deeply respects it and advocates for a hands-off approach, allowing nature to express itself without being rushed.

The result? Simple, authentic, and bold wines!

Of course, we have been working according to organic farming principles for many years.

We like to work the vines without unnecessary stress, with as little mechanical intervention as possible.

In the cellar, the same process: very little intervention, for a decidedly natural wine.
